Treat yourself to a break in Kaprun: Our new Recovery Wellness and Fitness Area spans over 1,000 m² and features a large indoor pool, an integrated hot tub, massage jets, a neck massage feature, and much more.
The view from the pool looks out over the beautiful hotel garden and the vine arbor. The Recovery relaxation area (for guests 15 and older) offers a variety of lounging areas and cozy nooks, hammocks, as well as waterbeds and floating loungers. What is our recovery area like?
Here, you can really feel the connection to nature through local materials like wood and natural stone. Recharge your energy in front of the cozy reclaimed-wood fireplace, on the waterbeds, in the treetop hammocks, or on the floating loungers. A drinking fountain with fresh spring water revitalizes both body and mind. The cozy nooks and waterbeds are the perfect retreat.
A few years ago, our recovery area was generously expanded to include the new relaxation and sauna area. Here, you’ll find peace and relaxation across more than 1,000 m². Guests aged 15 and older have access to this area (excluding the indoor pool and swimming pond).

You’ll really work up a sweat in our three saunas:
- Rustic alpine hut outdoor sauna in the garden with 90 °C
- Small cozy rose sauna with 80 °C
- Herbal soft sauna with 60 °C and 50% humidity (steam-sauna)
Cooling down after the infusion
After the infusion, you can cool down either in the glacier rock grotto or directly in the open-air shower. You can also refresh yourself in our in-house natural swimming pond. In winter you can even go ice bathing here.

Now you can find pure relaxation even on hot summer days: Cool off in our new natural swimming pond and enjoy the tranquility of nature all around you. Our regular guests and locals call it a little paradise. The huge 2,000 m² swimming pond area lies almost unreal behind the hotel, surrounded by green meadows.
The many areas waiting to be discovered are truly one-of-a-kind: above-water swings, floating loungers, platforms for chilling out, a hot tub, hammocks, a fire pit, and more. Just switch off and let the hot summer day in the Salzburg region drift by in relaxation. And in winter? That’s when we use the swimming pond for ice bathing after the sauna!

The CORE Kaprun has one sauna in the garden at 90 °C and two indoors (60 °C and 50% humidity & at 80 °C).
At CORE Kaprun, couples can enjoy their time together both relaxed in the wellness area with massages and actively with a wide range of sports. A romantic highlight is an evening in the wood-heated hot tub with whirlpool or cheese fondue at the fire snail, which can be rented exclusively.
